Diosa Onis is a self-taught visual artist from Salt Lake City, Utah, actively focused on her series ‘Tangled Reverie’. Currently, her multidisciplinary practice combines watercolor, acrylics, and gauze textile on unstretched canvas, creating textured and abstract works.
In her ongoing exploration, Onis is intrigued by fluid, abstract forms as representations of our internal landscape of dreams and memories, and textured gauze as the permeable boundary between imagination and reality.
Onis’s work has been exhibited in Portland and Salt Lake City, and showcased in virtual spaces, inviting viewers to appreciate the intricate beauty within their own lives.
